The Naxal, who was arrested yesterday, has been identified as Chaitu Naitam (22). He had earlier worked in Kurkheda, Korchi and Khobramendhi dalam (group), police said.
According to police, Naitam was involved in a number of incidents of Naxal violence in the district.
He has been remanded to five days of police custody by a local court.
