A youth was arrested today for allegedly stealing cash worth Rs 16.13 lakh from an ATM of a private bank in Tonk road here, police said.
21-year-old Surendra Puri along with three others including a woman had opened the ATM of a private bank and stolen Rs 16.13 lakh on March 15, DCP East K Rastradeep said.
"The accused, a resident of Ajmer was arrested today. His other accomplices have been identified as Nimit Chaudhary, his wife Rukhsana and Ganesh Jat. Jat is a CRPF constable posted in Jammu and Kashmir," he said.

After the youth's arrest, a raid was conducted at the flat of Chaudhary in Pratap Nagar where cash worth Rs 6 lakh, gas cutter, gloves and other items were recovered, police said.
Efforts are on to nab the other absconding accused in the case, they added.
