Youth attempts sodomy, murders minor boy in Raj

A 10-year-old boy was murdered allegedly by a youth after attempting sodomy on the minor in 22 Godown area here, police said today.

The boy was going to a nearby shop when accused Pintu Dhanka, a 22-year-old married man who was his acquaintance, took him to an isolated area and attempted to sodomise him, DCP South Ravi Dutt Gaur said.

"When the boy resisted, the accused hit him with a brick leaving him dead there. The body recovered this morning," Gaur said.

"After initial investigation, Dhanka was detained who confessed to have killed the boy," he said.
