Youth Congress activists stage protest

The Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress (DPYC) today alleged of a "scam in demonetisation" and its activists staged a protest against the BJP and its national president Amit Shah.

In a statement, Indian Youth Congress (IYC) national president Keshav Chand Yadav said, "Our protest is to wake up the nation from its slumber and to fight back the tyrannical and radical rule of the BJP and its political leaders. We demand a judicial probe into the matter."

The protest march started at the IYC office here. Hundreds of its members marched towards Akbar Road where they were detained forcefully near Shastri Bhawan. according to a statement.

 

The protest was led by Yadav, IYC national vice-president Srinivas B V and DPYC president Vikas Chhikara.
