Youth dies after being shot during altercation

Rahul Tak (22), resident of Gorewadi near here, died after being shot during an altercation, police said.

Police have registered a case against Sushant Wabale, Amol Patil, Rahul Kadam, Manoj Pawar and Kiran Pawar and launched a hunt for them as they are absconding.

The incident took place near a Pharmacy College in Takale Nagar in Panchavati locality last afternoon.

Tak was hit by the bullet accidentally and died during treatment at a private last night, police said.
