Youth held with 40 kg marijuana
A 20-year-old youth has been arrested and 40 kg ganja worth Rs 4 lakh was seized from him in suburban Vikroli, police said today.
Chand Mohammad Sheikh, a resident of suburban Ghatkopar, was picked from a bus stop on Eastern Expressway in Vikroli (East) last night, a senior Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) official said, adding Sheikh has been booked under relevant sections of NDPS Act and the ganja was seized.
He was produced in a court which remanded him in police custody till February 16.
Further investigation is on.
