A youth was killed and five others injured when the vehicle they were travelling in was hit by a truck on the outskirts of Jammu city, police said today.
The vehicle carrying six youths from Udhampur to Jammu city was hit by a truck coming from opposite direction at a sharp turn on Sidhra bypass late last night, they said.
In the mishap, 25-year-old Atul Sharma died on the spot, while Kailash Gupta (25), Arun Chowdhary (23), Rajat Nanda (23), Gaganpreet (25) and Anil Khullar (30) were injured.

The injured have been admitted to a hospital, the police said.
A case has been registered and an investigation is on.
