Youth killed in accidental firing

A youth was killed allegedly in an accidental firing during an engagement ceremony in Rajpura area here, police said today.

Ashok (23) was killed when the licenced gun being carried by a person named Neeraj was accidentally fired in Niryawali village last night, they said.

Police said that a case has been registered against the licence holder Radha Raman and Neeraj.

Neeraj has been arrested, they added.
