Youth killed in attack

A youth was killed in an

attack by some persons allegedly over a land dispute in village Safipur in Subeha area here, police said today.

The incident took place last night when one Ramesh Rawat (35) was attacked by them with with sticks and country-made pistol, they said, adding, was injured in it.

While Ramesh sustained bullet injury and died on the spot, his friend Ramnaresh was injured in the attack.

An FIR in this connection was registered against one Sharda Prasad and others by victim's family, which alleges that land dispute was the reason behind the incident.
