A 25-year-old mentally
challenged youth allegedly killed his father and injured his mother and sister-in-law in Murtiha village of Shravasti district, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when accused Anil Kumar axed to death his 75-year-old father Harihar Prasad Tiwari due to some family dispute.

The youth's mother Ramwati and sister-in-law Anita were also injured in the incident, police said.
The accused, who was stated to be mentally challenged, was later caught by villagers and handed over to the police.
