Youth rapes mentally challenged minor in Punjab

A 13-year-old mentally challenged girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by a youth at Dharamkot village in this district, police said today.

Sukhwinder Singh, 30, allegedly kidnapped the mentally challenged girl, who also couldn't speak, and raped her at a field in Dharamkot village yesterday, they said.

A case was registered against the absconding accused and search was on to nab him, police added.
