Press Trust of India New Delhi
Zinc futures fell 0.67 per cent to Rs 104.50 per kg today as speculators trimmed positions amid sluggish domestic demand and weak global trend.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc prices for delivery in December eased by 70 paise, or 0.67 per cent, to Rs 104.50 per kg in a business turnover of 844 lots.

Likewise, the metal for delivery in January 2016 traded lower by 65 paise, or 0.61 per cent, to Rs 105.50 per kg in 10 lots.

Analysts said the fall was due to slackened domestic demand at the spot market amid a weak trend in base metals at the London Metal Exchange.
