Bharti Airtel surges after April-June earnings

Reuters Market Eye - Shares in Bharti Airtel Ltd surge 5 percent as the company's June-quarter net profit adjusted for exceptional items, including tax provisions, beats estimates.

Investors say Bharti's shares provide an attractive entry, being up 11.8 percent in 2014 so far, underperforming Nifty returns of 22.8 percent.
