BSE Sensex edges lower after hitting record high

Reuters Market Eye - The BSE Sensex is down 0.02 percent after earlier marking its all-time high at 26,190.81. The broader Nifty falls 0.07 percent, after hitting a record high on Wednesday.

Indexes fall on profit-taking, bearish positions in futures.

Cairn India shares slump 6.6 percent after loan facility to parent Vedanta .

Wipro adds 0.5 percent ahead of quarterly earnings later in the day.

Shares in ACC fall 0.7 percent after June-quarter earnings.
