A Lot In A Name For Scindia

Addressing an election meeting here on Tuesday night in favour of Madhya Pradesh Vikas Congress nominee Rama Shankar Singh, the former Union minister said the name Rao had been associated with so many scandals that he would be forced to remove this word from his name.

Scindia said a lot of progress had taken place in the country under the leadership of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi but during Raos tenure as Prime Minister, the nations progress had been reversed and the Congress had become involved in numerous scandals.

He also lashed out at the BJP for trying to create divisions in the name of religion and caste and attacked the Congress government in Madhya Pradesh for being ineffective.
