Bjp Wins Rajmahal By 9 Votes

BJPs Som Marandi yesterday defeated Thomas Hansda of Congress by the lowest ever margin of nine votes in the Rajmahal Lok Sabha constituency. The BJP candidate was leading by 500-odd votes when re-poll was ordered in two booths from where reports of irregularities had been received. In the final count, the margin of victory came down to a little over 100 votes and a recount further brought it down to a mere nine.
