Goa Tourists

Goa continued to remain a popular tourist destination, attracting over 17,000 foreign tourists in January this year with as many as 64 flights being chartered here from several countries across Europe. The state received around 4000 more tourists this year as against the 13,379 tourists, who visited the state in 54 chartered flights during the corresponding period last year. The visitors were mainly from UK, Holland, Switzerland and Scandinavia, official sources said.
