Handicraft Fair

Business worth Rs 580 crore was transacted at the recently concluded India Handicrafts and Gifts Fair here. Over 2,200 foreign buyers visited the fair, considered to be the biggest in Asia, a Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts release said yesterday. Foreign buyers evinced keen interest in various handicrafts including glassware, art and metalware and traditional household handicraft products, it said.
