BCCI President N Srinivasan today again rejected demands for his resignation in the wake of the arrest of his son-in-law and CSK team owner Gurunath Meiyappan on charges of betting.
"I have done no wrong, I have no intention to resign. No member of the BCCI has asked for my resignation," Srinivasan said at a press conference he called here to reiterate his stand.

Refuting the rumours of revolt in the BCCI, he told journalists that the BCCI will conduct fair probe to punish those who are guilty. He said the sports body will act without fear or favour in its investigations.
"BCCI will punish players, officials or anybody if they found guilty," he said, adding that the last few days "have been difficult for the sports body and himself".

He said he had appointed a commission to probe the ownership pattern of Chennai Superkings, and to probe allegations against his son-in-law, Meiyappan.
Srinivasan also told mediapersons that Meiyappan had did not own Chennai Superkings and he used to visit the India Cements office only as a cricket lover.
To a question on why Gurunath called him as Team Principal, Srinivasan said, "he (Gurunath) was enthusiastic to put it and i am not going to reply or justify further on his role or his accreditation, all those matters will be looked by Commission".
