Kasliwal Welcomes Epb Decision

Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci) president A S Kasliwal yesterday welcomed the Prime Ministers decision to set up a single window, high-powered Export Promotion Board (EPB).

It is a matter of great satisfaction to us that the Prime Minister has immediately agreed to this suggestion and set up a board under the chairmanship of the cabinet secretary and all the concerned secretaries, which will have executive powers, said Kasliwal. He said he has also suggested that an Export Development Finance Corp should be set up with its focus on manufacturing, in line with domestic lending financial institutions. Our Corporate Bureau
