Monitoring and review of different functional goals/strategies already set in the approved Corporate Plan 1995-2005 are being done on regular basis for the implementation of the plan as incorporated. After Govt.'s approval all the expansion projects have taken the right speed and the activities related to diversification plans of value added products like Gallium, Zeolite-A, Special Grade Alumina and Cast Wheel Projects are moving forward. NALCO became the only "Zero-debt" company in Corporate Sector by discharging all its external debts on 30-9-98. As a step towards financial

restructuring Company has reduced its fully paid capital i.e from Rs. 1288.62 crores.
