Usha Comm Ties Up With Israeli Firm

This was announced by Jai Dhar Gupta, managing director, UCPL here yesterday.
The tie-up envisages semi-knocked down (SKD) manufacturing of integrated services private automatic branch exchanges (ISBXs) at its Jammu site, which has been set up by UCPL.
The company has projected a booming market for the Coral brand of ISBXs.
Tadiran has an ISBX range, starting from 16 ports through 6,000 ports to suit various niches in the market.
The Usha-Tadiran collaboration has already notched up 27 orders for ISBX systems, Gupta said.
Besides Indian market, UCPL is targeting other South Asian markets like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Burma and Nepal.
