Usha Intl Introduces New Air-Conditioners

Usha International has projected an additional sales turnover of Rs 30 crore in 1998-99 by introducing 11 new models of airconditioners. A company official said this here while introducing a wide range of products in different categories including fans, sewing machines, water filters, airconditioners and water coolers. Senior executive director Sunil Wadhwa said the consumer durables marketing company would use its countrywide distribution network of 5,000 dealers to sell airconditioners. In 1997-98, Usha International recorded a turnover of Rs 350 crore. It belongs to the Rs 1,300 crore Siel group of which Siddharth Shriram is the chairman.
