Agilent launches new software solution

Agilent Technologies Inc, a premier measurement company in telecommunications, electronics, and life sciences and chemical analysis (LSCA), today launched the enterprise edition of its multi-vendor laboratory compliance software solution, Agilent Compliance Enterprise Edition, for the Asia Pacific region.

The software solution aimed at pharmaceutical and medical research companies would help meet good laboratory practice (GLP) and good clinical practice (GCP) regulations by reducing the complexity of scheduling various vendors through integrating many protocols for the same type of instrument.

Speaking at the launch, Yeko Gemba, Asia Pacific sales development manager for support services, Agilent Technologies' LSCA group, said, "A pre-launch market survey has shown good response in India, and we plan to extend the enterprise edition to markets in China, Japan and Singapore."

Agilent already has classic and software editions of the compliance software solution for labs with all-Agilent equipment and network edition for network validation projects, and plans to launch a partner edition in future.
