Apple launches video shooting contest

Audio Media Education India Pvt Ltd, the authorised Indian training centre of Apple, the global information technology company, has launched 'I-create' contest which involves shooting of two-minute music video.
 
According to a press statement, Selvakumar, trainer and managing director, Audio Media Education, said, "Apple Mac has been traditionally a tool of creative expression for musicians, editors, directors and visual effects artists, internationally."
 
The competition would be conducted in two categories. In the student category, those aged between 16 years and 23 years can participate, where as those in the age group of 24 years to 30 years can participate in the professional category.
 
The first 500 participants who register at the audiomedia website, will be invited to attend a one-day workshop on Apple iLife -a suite of digital lifestyle application which comes bundled with every Mac, iMovie, iPhoto and iWeb.
 
The participants will be given seven days to shoot the video. The best video would win a Mac Book under the professional category.
 
The winner in the student category will receive a 30 GB Apple iPod and can attend the first level course at Audio Media Education.
