Aztec gets Rs 9.15cr tax notice

Aztec Software has been served a tax notice of Rs 9.15 crore by the government, and the company has decided to appeal against it.

"The company has received a notice from the income tax authorities for payment of Rs 9.15 crore as taxes due to the adjustments made to the company's transfer pricing for fiscal 2001-02," Aztec said in a release issued to the BSE today.

The company will be preferring an appeal against the order before Commissioner (Appeals), the first appellate authority, the release added.
