| Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) is planning to invest over Rs 19,400 crore in the next financial year (2006-2007), mainly for expansion of mobile and broadband services. "While most of the investment would come from internal accruals, the coporation may borrow Rs 5,000-6,000 crore," S D Saxena, director (finance) of BSNL, said. Saxena said nearly 80% of the investment would go into expansion of the mobile network and broadband besides upgradation of the switching system, wireless and other related services. |
