Infinite Computer Solutions, an IT solutions and services provider said on Wednesday, it has established its wholly-owned subsidiary in Malaysia, to improve its global delivery capabilities.
Targetting revenues of $500 million by 2009, Infinite already has a global development centre here, one of four and the only one outside the US.
Soon, the Bangalore centre will be housed in a $8 million 3,00,000 sq. ft. state-of-the art office, a senior company executive said.
In Malaysia, Infinite has sought 'Multimedia Super Corridor' status, which gives the firm some sops, Upinder Zutshi, the company's chief executive officer told reporters here.
Infinite will have a staff of 280 in Malaysia by the year end, who will serve both clients in East Asian markets and global clients who operate in the region.
The company aims to get $ 350 million of its 2009 revenues "organically" and the rest via acquisitions, Zutshi said. "We aim to raise business from the financial services sector to 30 per cent of our revenues by 2007", he said.
Last fiscal, the company posted revenue of $85 million, growing 21 per cent. It aims to double that growth rate in the next two years and plans to increase its worldwide staff strength by two thirds, to 5,000, this fiscal.
"A revamp of senior management" will also happen soon, Zutshi said, "and augmentation of the sales team, globally."
