Infotech bags SP AusNet order

Infotech Enterprises Ltd has announced that SP AusNet, an amalgamation of the former TXU Networks and SPI PowerNet in Australia, has selected the company to provide data maintenance services for their gas and electricity network assets under a two-year contract.

The company operates the data maintenance centre for SP AusNet from its facilities in Melbourne, Australia.

Infotech chairman and chief executive officer BVR Mohan Reddy stated that the contract represented an important milestone for Infotech's business in Australia.

The SP AusNet engagement would reinforces Infotech's presence in the utility markets in Australia, which also include customers like Origin Energy and Citipower, he added
