The first phase of Kanbay's 15-acre new campus was inaugurated by chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy here today.

The company started its Hyderabad operations in the year 2003 at HiTec city and currently has 1,900 professionals here. The headcount in Hyderabad would be increased to 5,000 in the next 12-14 months, Raymond said.

Besides the new campus, the company is in discussions with the state government over its active plans to evaluate additional facilities in Andhra Pradesh, Raymond said.
