NIIT Tech inks deal with SAP

NIIT Technologies has signed a strategic deal with SAP, the world's largest enterprise applications software provider, to service the growing Indian market.

According to a release issued by NIIT Technologies to the BSE today,  "the NIIT-SAP alliance will focus on implementing projects for the government and public sector companies."

Arvind Thakur, CEO of NIIT Technologies, said, "India is the fastest growing IT market in Asia-Pacific. Our strong competence in providing solutions around the SAP solution suite and proven track record in enabling government bodies to be more effective and efficient will enable both organisations ride the wave of growth."
