| Reliance Infocomm is planning to cover the entire state of Maharashtra and Goa, and spread to 370 additional cities under phase II of its network plan for the two circles. Atul Jhamb, CEO (Maharashtra and Goa) of Reliance Infocomm, said: "The company will reach out to entire Maharashtra covering 34 districts, 350 talukas, 15 national highways and 34 state highways. In a few months, over 18,000 villages would also be covered." Besides voice services, the company offers a host of data services including internet connectivity and over 120 market-relevant data applications in the field of education, information, business and tourism, he said. |
