IT consultancy Saprev is looking at acquiring a BPO/ITES company with a turnover in the range of Rs 20 crore - Rs 30 crore in India. The London-headquarted company which specialises in providing SAP and Oracle DBA consultancy services will look at acquiring a IT or ITESPO firm based in either Pune, Mumbai or Bangalore, according to informed sources.
It is understood that while there is no timeframe for the buyout, the UK-based Saprev is keen to retain the top brass of the acquiree company for a good period of time following the acquisition. Saprev founder CEO Venkat Subramanian and the Pune-based advisors of the company did not respond to queries on investments involved in the acquisition or potential target companies identified.
Saprev has diversified its outsourcing solutions across services lines like business consultancy, BPO/KPO and capability development. The company runs offices in the UK, Ireland, Canada, India and the US.
In India, Saprev operates delivery centres in New Delhi and Coimbatore.
Operations are expected to start out of the Sydney centre by the third quarter of 2009, sources added.
