Hyderabad-based information technology company Satyam Computer Services announced various strategic initiatives on Tuesday, including a 350-seater dedicated delivery centre in Hyderabad, to expand its multi-dimensional relationship with Microsoft Corporation.

The centre was inaugurated by Moorthy Uppaluri, chief executive officer of Microsoft IT-Global, last week. Satyam is a strategic service partner for Microsoft's global IT sourcing and product development outsourcing.

Satyam builds Microsoft IP and solutions for futuristic products and yet-to-be-released versions.

It collaborates with Microsoft to address the needs of common enterprise customers and provide enhanced business value.

"Microsoft is a strategic customer and partner for Satyam in providing futuristic technological solutions for the global market. Satyam appreciates the opportunity to create innovative and cutting-edge solutions through Microsoft technologies involving MS Dynamics and unified communication solutions," Ram Mynampati, board member and president of commercial and healthcare businesses, Satyam, said.

In September 2006, Satyam launched two business intelligence facilities on the Microsoft platform.

The two sites in Singapore and Shanghai are centres of excellence where researchers use real-life scenarios and data to test, develop and implement innovative solutions for the financial services sector.
