| Software solutions provider Zensar Technologies has entered into a partnership with the Japan-based Nomura Research Institute (NRI) to launch a software migration solution called SITAR (Solution Initiative for Transformation and Re-engineering). |
| With SITAR, the company aims to transfer existing legacy systems to the open source platform. According to a company release, the value of the business targeted is over $30 million per year for the alliance and the partnership is expected to be worth over $5 million per year for Zensar. |
| NRI general manager, Financial Systems Project, Shigeki Hayashi, said in a release "this joint effort of NRI, Microsoft and Zensar expects to yield orders worth ¥3 billion in the first year". |
| Zensar will provide system analysis and system implementation based on Object Oriented Technology. NRI will also provide basic system architecture, and assurance of reliability/performance. |
