Gujarat State Fertilizers launches industrial products for construction industry

Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd (GSFC) has launched its two industrial products Gujcon-CRF/PRF, which are secondary fibre reinforcements for concrete and plaster respectively. Products were launched by Dr S K Nanda, CMD, GSFC, in Mumbai recently in a ceremony which was attended by other dignitaries such as Jayraj Phatak, MD, Maharashtra Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd; Suresh Patel, Chairman, CREDAI, Gujarat; Yogesh Bhavsar, President, GIHED, Gujarat; and Dr Jatin Modi, President, All India Institute of Local Self-Government. The event - which was attended by major architects, builders, civil &structural engineers and major players from infrastructure industry - had a technical presentation about the products. Suresh Patel and some other prominent users shared their experiences and advantage of these products.
 
“Gujcon-CRF/PRF is a path breaking innovation for infrastructure industry. It has major application in RCC & PCC, flooring, roads, bridges, pre-cast structures, waterproofing, etc. Its major advantages are arresting shrinkage cracks, reduction in rebound loss, check water seepage, strengthening of structure, and enhancing durability of concrete,” said a GSFC’s press release.
