Instead, he dropped out of college to begin his career in finance — a move that eventually led him to the world of New York hospitality.

From becoming a partner at a top nightclub in East Hampton to working with some major groups like Tao and Butter, Campbell worked hard at every project presented his way. Campbell then saw an opportunity to venture into tech when the hospitality industry struggled due to the challenges of the pandemic. Two of the most exciting tech startups that he is involved in are PearPop and VIVI.

PearPop is a Los-Angeles based brand that garnered over 25,000 users in less than a month and has received funding from Rocket One Capital. The company is designed to help rising musicians and influencers partner with popular TikTokers to boost their audience and engagement.

VIVI is a platform that was created to connect consumers with on-demand delivery and pick-up services for items such as food, merchandise or personal items. The app connects users with a delivery person or service provider that ensures the items are available quickly or delivered efficiently.

As for the future, Campbell is looking forward to jumping back into hospitality in New York as he has just partnered with a company to open a new restaurant and speakeasy in downtown Manhattan later this fall.
