Bangladesh, meanwhile, have restructured their line-up. Captain Najmul Shanto revealed pivotal changes: Mahmudullah makes a welcome return, and express fast bowler Nahid Rana is in contention, while seasoned players Soumya Sarkar and Tanzid Shakib have been dropped. Shanto noted, "The resilience we showed in our comeback against India after that collapse has filled us with confidence," signalling an assertive approach as they aim to counter New Zealand's tactical ploys.
