Goddess Padmavathi boat festival reaches its conclusion

Tiruchanoor (AP), Jun 17 (ANI): The boat festival of Goddess Padmavathi has reached its end on Monday. On Sunday, the penultimate day of the festival, Goddess Padmavathi was taken on boat ride in temple lake in evening. Later the Goddess Padmavati was taken on elephant ride in the four sacred streets around the temple. Tiruchanur is a temple town near Tirumala. It is considered to be the place of Goddess Padmavathi, wife of Lord Balaji. Monday is the last day of this boat festival.
