Kabul (Afghanistan), May 31 (ANI): At least 50 people are feared dead after a suicide car bomb attack near the Indian embassy in Kabul on Wednesday morning. The explosion, which was targeted at Iranian embassy, occurred nearby the Indian embassy located 1.5 kilometres away from it. Union Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj said that the staff of Indian embassy did not suffer in the blast. "By God's grace, Indian Embassy staff are safe in the massive #Kabul blast," Swaraj tweeted. According to sources, the Indian Embassy has suffered some damage in the form of broken windows due to pressure waves arising from the explosion. Officials of the embassy are, however, safe, the sources added. Many foreign embassies are located in the area, including the American and Canadian missions. The Afghan National Security Force (ANSF) has deployed its team in the area for rescue and counter-insurgency operations.
