Hindus in Pakistan celebrate Diwali

Karachi, Oct 31 (ANI): The Hindu community across Pakistan celebrated Diwali, the festival of lights. In Karachi, around five hundred Hindu men, women and children attended a Diwali gathering in the Swami Narayan Temple, which was illuminated and decorated with buntings to mark the occasion. There was a grand display of fireworks by youngsters. Children participated by setting off fire crackers. Nearby houses also wore a festive look with colourful "rangoli" on the floors of many compounds.
