Polls to be held on due date, says Nepal's Election Commissioner

Kathmandu, Nepal, April 10 (ANI): Amid speculations of postponement of the May 14 election, the Election Commission of Nepal is determined to hold the polls on the due date. Madhesi political parties are pushing for a constitutional amendment to give them greater representation in the government and redraw provincial boundaries in order to create two federal provinces that stretch across the entire Terai region.
