Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ), part of the diversified Adani group, on Wednesday reported an 18 per cent rise in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to ₹3,682 crore in the second quarter (July-September/Q2) of 2026-27 (FY27), from ₹3,120 crore in the corresponding quarter last financial year (2025-26/FY26).
The company also reported a 23 per cent rise in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) to ₹6,807 crore. Total revenue rose 24 per cent to ₹11,340 crore in Q2, from ₹9,167 crore in the same period last financial year (FY26).
“APSEZ’s ability to execute at scale with financial prudence enables us to pursue ambitious growth while leveraging balance-sheet strength and compounding cash flows,” Ashwani Gupta, whole-time director and chief executive officer, said. He added that the company’s earnings were anchored in its domestic ports business, while international ports, logistics, and marine businesses were emerging as other growth engines.
The company said it had deployed ₹30,346 crore in capital expenditure (capex) over the past two years, including higher-than-planned investments in the first half (H1) of the current financial year (FY27). “Strong H1 performance has led APSEZ to raise FY27 revenue and Ebitda guidance by ₹1,000 crore each to ₹44,000-46,000 crore and ₹26,000-27,000 crore, respectively,” it said.
APSEZ is accelerating its investment programme to achieve its 2030-31 targets of ₹91,500 crore in revenue and ₹52,000 crore in Ebitda. The company has also raised its FY27 capex guidance by ₹3,000 crore to ₹15,000-17,000 crore.

Revenue from the domestic ports business rose 13 per cent, supported by cargo growth and higher realisations. Cargo volume during the quarter stood at 118 million tonnes (mt), while capacity at domestic ports stood at 671 mt.
“The international ports portfolio sustained its strong momentum, delivering record revenue and Ebitda of ₹1,839 crore and ₹878 crore, respectively, with the Ebitda margin reaching a record 47.7 per cent. Volumes increased to 24 mt from 10 mt in Q2 of 2025-26,” APSEZ said.
The company attributed the performance to the continued ramp-up of Colombo West International Terminal (CWIT) and its Tanzania operations, as well as a contribution from North Queensland Export Terminal. CWIT handled 2 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) within the first 18 months of operations.
APSEZ also said its logistics business had recovered strongly from the first quarter (April-June/Q1) of FY27, which was affected by the West Asia crisis. TEU volumes rose 15 per cent to 167,453 in Q2FY27, from 145,310 in Q1FY27. Trucking revenue increased 28 per cent year-on-year.
