The merger between O Panneerselvam camp and Edapadi Palaniswami camp in AIADMK has hit a road block. Former Chief Minister and late J Jayalalithaa close aid Panneerselvam announced that he dissolved the committee he had set up to hold talks with Chief Minister Palaniswami camp.In a later evening on Sunday, Panneerselvam said that he had dissolved the committee. The seven-member panel formed in April hold merger talks between the two AIADMK factions.He accused the ruling AIADMK faction of enacting a drama and said he was disbanding the merger negotiating team of his own group."After the setting up of the negotiation team, they started playing a drama. The Election Commission has decided to freezed AIADMK's two leaves symbol. An interim order was passed on Wednesday late night by the Commission after a day long hearing. Meanwhile, the two AIADMK factions have got new poll symbols for the upcoming bye-election at R.K.
