Biparjoy: Amit Shah to visit cyclone-affected areas of Gujarat today

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Kutch and Jakhau port in Gujarat on Saturday to take stock of the situation in areas affected by cyclone Biparjoy, officials said. He will also hold a meeting with Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and senior officers. The home minister will visit Kutch to review the situation in areas affected by the cyclone, a home ministry official said. Shah will first conduct an aerial survey of the affected areas and then go to Jakhau port in Kutch, and Mandvi. He will also visit shelter homes and meet people. Later, he will also visit Swami Narayan Temple in Bhuj and review food and other facilities being distributed among those affected, the official said.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be meeting ace filmmaker S S Rajamouli, the director of blockbuster movies 'RRR' and 'Baahubali', here on Thursday, according to Telangana BJP sources. Need to maintain utmost vigil along international borders: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday stressed upon the need to have utmost vigilance along the international borders to ensure zero infiltration and smuggling of drugs and arms. Amit Shah to address public meeting in Odisha's Dhenkanal on June 17

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Odisha on June 17 and address a public meeting in Dhenkanal, a senior party leader said on Saturday. Odisha BJP general secretary Prithviraj Harichandan said Shah, during his one-day visit, will participate in the 'Maha Jansampark Abhiyan' of the party in Dhenkanal. Harichandan said some other senior leaders will also visit the state as part of the BJP's nationwide mass outreach campaign which is being held to mark the completion of nine years of the NDA government at the Centre.
