T Koshy steps down as CEO of ONDC after completing three-year tenure

The government-backed Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) has announced that its MD and CEO, T Koshy, has stepped down following the completion of his three-year tenure at the company. ONDC is an initiative of the commerce and industry ministry to help small retailers expand their business and reduce the dominance of e-commerce giants. It aims to build an open, interoperable network on which buyers and sellers can transact without needing to be present on the same platform. "Koshy has expressed his desire to step down," ONDC said in a statement. The MD and CEO responsibilities have been transitioned to an executive committee. According to an official, the process to select a new CEO and MD would be initiated soon. ONDC offers small retailers an opportunity to provide their services and goods to buyers across the country through an e-commerce system, where buyers are able to purchase products that are sold on any platform. Cleartrip appoints Manjari Singhal as Chief Growth and Business Officer

Online travel platform Cleartrip on Thursday announced the appointment of Manjari Singhal as its new Chief Growth and Business Officer. She succeeds Anuj Rathi who is moving on to pursue new opportunities. Dhruv Agarwala resigns as CEO of REA India that owns Housing.com, PropTiger

Dhruv Agarwala, the CEO of REA India, that owns real estate classified platform Housing.com, has resigned from the company to pursue his own entrepreneurial journey. In 2011, Agarwala co-founded proptech firm Elara Technologies which owned PropTiger, one of the leading housing brokerage firms in the country. Delhi polls: CEO Vaz assures voter-friendly steps for smooth Feb 5 voting

Around 1.56 crore voters are set to exercise their electoral franchise in the Delhi Assembly election on February 5 as voter-friendly measures have been put in place for the smooth polling process, Chief Electoral Officer R. Alice Vaz said. To facilitate voting, 13,766 polling stations have been set up across 2,969 polling premises. Of these, 733 polling stations are designated for persons with disabilities, Vaz said. Around 1.56 crore voters, including 83.76 lakh men, 72.36 lakh women, and 1,267 individuals from the third gender will cast their ballot on February 5. The Delhi Election Office has introduced several voter-friendly measures to ensure a smooth polling process.
