MapmyIndia founders set up new AI data analytics, consulting firm ClarityX

Digital navigation firm MapmyIndia founders have set up new entity ClarityX, which will operate in the domain of AI-based data analytics and consulting services, a top company official said. MapmyIndia Co-Founder and CMD Rakesh Verma, who has founded the new firm, revealed that MapmyIndia initially started as a data analytics company and with ClarityX, the founders want to start afresh with their vision around the data analytics and consulting services associated with it. "In the 90s when we started MapmyIndia, it was initially in the business of data analytics but the navigation part picked up well. "We are now setting up an AI-driven data analytics and consulting company ClarityX which is independent of MapmyIndia, and will provide to all enterprises, including MapmyIndia as a partner," Verma said. PTC India is planning to provide round-the-clock (RTC) power offerings by "blending" green energy with thermal, its CMD Rajib Kumar Mishra has said. The offerings will also include storage solutions, the official made the remarks at the company's 24th Annual Day in the national capital. "PTC India stands strong and focused on taking up market risks and positions. Focused on crafting innovative solutions and acting as virtual power plants, PTC India aims to provide round-the-clock power offerings by blending renewable energy with thermal generation and storage solutions," Mishra said on Friday. LatentView Analytics reports profit after tax at Rs 342 mn in March quarter

Global digital analytics consulting and solutions firm LatentView Analytics Ltd has reported a profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 342 million for the quarter ending March 31, 2023, the company said on Tuesday. For the year ending March 31, 2023 the PAT grew to Rs 1,554 million, the company said. Operating revenues during the quarter under review grew by 20.1 per cent to Rs 1,411 million while for the year ending March 31, 2023 it stood at Rs 5,388 million. The Profit After Tax for FY22 includes exceptional item of Rs 226 million. Excluding exceptional item FY23 profit after tax at 45.4 per cent, the company said. Centre unveils initiative to upgrade analytical instrumentation facilities

Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh on Monday launched an initiative to provide financial support for the upgradation and maintenance of analytical instrumentation facilities (AIFs) created under the ministry's support. The Support for Up-gradation Preventive Repair and Maintenance of Equipment (SUPREME), a first-of-its-kind programme by the government, extends financial support for repair, upgradation, maintenance, retrofitting, or acquiring additional attachments to increase functional capabilities of existing analytical instrumentation facilities. Such facilities at institutions recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) are eligible to apply for grants under SUPREME. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) driven tools for data analysis and information creation will be integral part of Reserve Bank's Medium-term Strategy Framework Utkarsh 2.0' for the period 2023-2025 launched on Friday by Governor Shaktikanta Das. The first strategy framework (Utkarsh 2022) covering the period 2019-2022 was launched in July 2019. It became a medium-term strategy document guiding the Bank's progress towards realisation of the identified milestones. Against the backdrop of a challenging global and domestic environment, Utkarsh 2.0 commences from 2023, when India assumes the G-20 Presidency, the RBI said.
