Vinnie Paul, co-founder and drummer of metal band Pantera, has passed away at the age of 54."Vincent Paul Abbott aka Vinnie Paul has passed away. Paul is best known for his work as the drummer in the bands Pantera and Hellyeah. No further details are available at this time. The family requests you please respect their privacy during this time," read a statement on the Pantera Facebook page.Paul, along with his brother Dimebag Darrell, had formed 'Pantera' in 1981.The American musician, songwriter and producer was a member of 'Hellyeah.'Five days before his death, Paul's final performance took place at The Vinyl at the Hard Rock Hotel and Resort at Las Vegas.

First U.S. Indie to release in Saudi Arabia

'SicarioA sequel of 2015's 'Sicario', the Mexico-set drug-trafficking thriller will hit the AMC theater in the Saudi capital of Riyadh on June 28, a day before its scheduled U.S. release, reported the Variety.Featuring Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin reprising their roles, the film will also have Isabela Moner, Jeffrey Donovan, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Catherine Keener joining the cast.It is being distributed locally by Middle Eastern company Italia Film, which previously handled the revolutionary release of Marvel's 'Black Panther' in Saudi Arabia on April 18.In a statement, Italia Film said that the Saudi release of the ultra-violent 'Soldado' was another great victory for the film industry and for film fans in Saudi Arabia.Directed by Stefano Sollima, the thriller revolves around the drug war at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Colombian sensation Shakira triggered a controversy in the midst of her El Dorado World Tour for selling a necklace which resembles a sun symbol used by the Nazis.The necklace, a featured product for the singer's El Dorado tour, was first called out by German publication Bento. He noted a resemblance between the pendant and the Nazi Black Sun symbol, confirmed The Hollywood Reporter.The Black Sun was first used in a mosaic at the Wewelsburg Castle in Germany, which served as a home base for the SS party and Adolf Hitler's associate.Shakira's tour company, Live Nation, took to Twitter and apologised for the same. Tamil film actor Mansoor Ali Khan, lodged in the central jail in nearby Salem, today began a fast to protest against the multi-crore Chennai-Salem greenfield highway project, police said. Khan was arrested on June 14 and jailed for speaking against the Tamil Nadu government on the project and also allegedly intimidating people, which could have 'led to riots,' they said.
