Shia LaBeouf, David Ayer to join forces for upcoming crime thriller

Hollywood actor Shia LaBeouf is all set to reunite with filmmaker David Ayer for upcoming crime thriller 'Tax Collector'.According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 'Transformers' actor previously teamed up with the director for 2014 World War-II drama 'Fury'.Ayer, who is the writer/director for the film, will start shooting in Los Angeles, the report further said.Previously, LaBeouf was seen in tennis drama 'Borg vs. McEnroe' and recently completed shooting 'Honey Boy'.Ayer last directed the Netflix feature Bright and is set to return for the sequel.

After being robbed at gunpoint in a city hotel year-and-a-half ago, American reality television personality Kim Kardashian was back in Paris, along with rapper husband Kanye West on Thursday.According to E! Online, the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star attended the Louis Vuitton Menswear spring/summer 2019 Paris Fashion Week show.She was spotted with sister Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend Travis Scotton, other than her husband.Earlier in 2017, Kim in her reality show had said that she might return to Paris "maybe in like, five, six, seven, ten years" according to E! Online.A day prior to Kim and Kanye's arrival, Kylie and Travis travelled to France with their four-month-old daughter Stormi Webster.On October 2016, five burglars robbed Kim at gunpoint in her hotel room. They stole 11 million dollars worth of jewellery, including a 4.9 million dollars ring, along with two cell phones.

'Roseanne' spinoff is officiallly happening, sans Roseanne

After much hullabaloo, television broadcasting company ABC has finally confirmed it isn't letting go of 'Roseanne'.The network has announced it will bring back a 'Roseanne' spin-off - tentatively called 'The Conners' - without its controversial lead, Roseanne Barr, reports E! Online.It stressed in its announcement that former star Barr - who gave rise to a controversy after calling Valerie Jarrett, the former senior adviser to former President Barack Obama, the baby of the "Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes" - will have no financial or creative involvement in the new series."I regret the circumstances that have caused me to be removed from 'Roseanne'. Veteran journalist Prabhakar Choubey passes away

Veteran journalist and litterateur Prabhakar Choubey passed away after a prolonged illness at a city hospital here today, officials said. He was 83-year-old. According to a senior official, Choubey passed away late evening at AIIMS here. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh condoled Choubey's death and said that he, in his career spanning 54 years, made invaluable and memorable contribution in the fields of journalism and literature, the official said. His last rites would be conducted here tomorrow, the official said.

Kobe Bryant denied admission to Film Academy

Sportsperson-turned-filmmaker Kobe Bryant has been denied the membership to Oscar's Film Academy, despite his recent Oscar win.The American basketball player was recommended for membership by the executive committee of 'Short films and Feature animation branch' of Academy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.The sports legend won the Oscar in February for the best animated short film for his autobiographical piece, 'Dear Basketball'.
