PIB's YouTube channel up and running, but misses PM's Yoga Day event

The Press Information Bureau's official YouTube channel was unblocked at 8 am today just after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's yoga event got over, a senior official said. The channel was blocked as YouTube was updating its "partner agreements", a spokesperson for the website had said yesterday. "YouTube unblocked PIB's YouTube channel today at 8 am," a senior official said today. But PIB could not live stream the prime minister's event from the Uttarakhand capital Dehradun on International Yoga Day as the function got over at 8 am. The problem was communicated to YouTube India yesterday, a PIB source said. PIB India's YouTube channel had been experiencing a technical glitch because of which viewers were not able to access content on the channel, the source had said yesterday. Mary J Blige to star in horror thriller 'Body Cam'

"Mudbound" star Mary J Blige is all set to feature in horror thriller, "Body Cam". This will be the first headlining role for the Oscar-nominated actor, who is renowned rapper and R&B/hip-hop artiste, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The story of the film follows several LAPD police officers who are haunted by a malevolent spirit that is tied to the murder of an African American youth at the hands of two white cops, all of which are caught on a body cam video that was destroyed in a cover-up. Blige, 47, will play an officer who is rocked by visions and begins to investigate the cover-up. Malik Vitthal will direct the film, which is being produced by Matt Kaplan. The plot has been described as a tonal blend of Academy Award-winning "Get Out" (2017) and David Ayer's 2012 crime drama "End of Watch". The spec script was written by Richmond Riedel, and rewritten by Nicholas McCarthy and John Ridley.
